Postanjyan asks premier about Syunik Governor's status
Heritage Party MP Zaruhi Postanjyan has made inquiries from Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan about the current status of Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan.
On June 3, Khachatryan announced his decision to temporarily quit the office until the completion of a criminal investigation into the June 1 shooting near his house in Goris which left a former mayoral candidate killed and two others wounded.
Police have detained Khachatryan's son Tigran Khachatryan and his bodyguard Zarzand Nikoghosyan in connection with the murder.
