The deadly skirmish outside the house of Syunik Governor Surik Khachatryan once again speaks of the atmosphere of permissiveness and impunity reigning in Armenia, say human rights advocates.
"It is pointless to say new things about Surik Khachatryan, everything is already vivid," says human rights activist Janna Alexanyan.
"Was Syunik governor sleeping when his son was killing a man outside his house?" wonders the activist.
