New work project
"Meghradzor Gold" Ltd. has submitted a revised work project of the gold mining plant to the "Environmental expertise" state non-profit organization of the Ministry of Environment. On May 7, the ministry had made an announcement in which it was said that they had returned the work project of the gold mining plant to "Meghradzor Gold" Ltd.
We remind that public at large and the residents of Meghradzor village of Kotayk region in particular had organized protest actions against the decision of the company to start a gold mining process in the resort village of Meghradzor. The protesters had sent a letter to president explaining the situation.
