Environmentalists’ way blocked
The members of Pan-Armenian Environmental Front - "Green group" are walking to "Khachaghbyur-2" hydroelectric power station. One of the members of the group - Levon Galstyan told the reporter of "A1+" about it on the phone.
The members of "Green group" have visited the village of Geghahovit of Tavush region and met the residents. They talked on the issue of "Khachaghbyur-2".
Levon Galstyan said that the residents of the village told them they were against the hydroelectric power station.
"Some people blocked our way when we were walking to the hydroelectric power station. We immediately called the police hot line", said Levon Gasltyan.
It turned out during the conversation with the village residents, that the latter have been intimidated for many times not to go against the decision of opening a power station near their village.
