Paruyr Hayrikyan on May 28
"May 28 is the day of our independence and not of the first republic".
Paruyr Hayrikyan said today, during the open-air press conference at Republic square.
"In 1918 the Armenian people was struggling not for a state but for the recovery of the state ", he said.
Following the tradition, Paruyr Hayrikyan was at Republic square to present the significance of the day.
"May 28 is one of our national symbols and a symbol is one of the most important phenomena for any nation".
The members of the Union of National Self-Determination will go to the graves of Aram Manukyan, Haykaz Khachatryan and Movses Gorgisyan.
