Armenian, Russian FMs meet in Bishkek
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia, Edward Nalbandian and Sergey Lavrov, had a meeting on the sidelines of the sitting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of CSTO member states in Bishkek.
The interlocutors discussed urgent issues on bilateral and international agenda, issues of security and stability in the South Caucasus, implementation of agreements reached between the heads of the two countries and other issues.
In Bishkek, Edward Nalbandian also met with his Kyrgyz counterpart. The two men discussed steps towards strengthening bilateral relations, including organization of high-level visits and consultations between the foreign ministries, expansion of the legal framework, promotion of economic cooperation, etc.
