No cattle, no loan
Banks do not give loans to the residents of the village of Artanish of Gegharkunik region. Banks give loans only to those people who have cattle, so Artanish is not attractive for them.
"People work, yet most do not have money to buy cattle. Banks do not take houses in the security for the loan sum. People face a problem so they leave the country", deputy head of Artanish community Romela Ghulyan said.
It is an expensive pleasure to be engaged in agriculture for Artanish residents. There is no machinery and hail and drought create additional problems.
