Armenian Premier heading to hail-stricken Armavir
Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is presently heading to Mrgashat village, one of the hail-stricken communities in the country's western Armavir province. The prime minister will then visit the Governor's Office of the province where he will meet with heads of the affected communities.
On Monday, residents of the hail-stricken villages closed Yerevan-ARmavir roadway demanding clear compensation for the damage. Regional Administrator Ashot Ghahramanyan asked the angered villagers to wait for three days, until the next Cabinet meeting which is due to be held at 10:00, May 23.
