Is Armenian Premier consulting with Nikol Pashinyan?
At the end of the National Assembly sitting, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan approached lawmaker Nikol Pashinyan, a member of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) faction. The two men talked for some ten minutes.
After the meeting Pashinyan told journalists that they had discussed conceptual issues concerning Armenia's future development.
"These were theoretical questions relating to Armenia's development and social relations," Pashinyan said adding that he did not find a second meeting for a detailed discussion necessary.
"The premier's questions concern the level of social relations, including parliamentary discussions, our view of the present social crisis and of the ways to surmount it. I did not say anything, I only heard Mr Sargsyan," Pashinyan said.
The ANC MP also spoke about the interior political developments, as well as his disagreement with Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
