Sedrakyan demands that Hayrikyan be subpoenaed
Chairman of the National Self-Determination Union, former presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan returned to Armenia three days ago and is presently undergoing a comprehensive medical examination, Hayirkyan's representative Levon Barseghyan announced today at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash districts.
The court today continued the hearing into the case of the assassination attempt against Paruyr Hayrikyan. Vardan Sedrakyan, another ex-presidential candidate running in February's presidential election, is accused of masterminding the assassination attempt on Hayrikyan.
Sedrakyan today announced in court that he did not plead guilty of the crime and demanded that Hayrikyan be issued a subpoena.
Sedrakyan was as usual in high spirits.
