ASPU student sets record for pull-ups
Roman Sahradyan, a student of Armenian State Pedagogical University, Faculty of History and Jurisprudence, has established a new record by performing 50 pull-ups in a minute and beating the previous record in Armenia by three pull-ups.
During the event held at Youth Gymnastic Olympic Sports School after Hrant Shahinyan, the record breaker said he had been preparing for the exercise for one year and expected to show good results.
"I am performing the exercise for the first time. I am not yet familiar with the world record for most pull-ups, but I shall attempt to set new records," he said.
Sahradyan dedicated the victory to the 90th anniversary of ASPU.
