SIS investigates the case
Special Investigation Service has officially confirmed the existence of the case on the abuse of official position by the former governor of Vayots Dzor region.
Answering to the written inquiry of "Pastinfo", SIS of RA reported that Chief Prosecutor's Office has brought action against former governor of Vayots Dzor Sergey Bagratyan, head of agricultural department of the region Babken Mkrtchyan and heads of some communities on charge of abuse of official position and embezzlement.
SIS also reported that they have got the case on 03.05.2013 and some necessary investigatory actions are under way at the present stage of the investigation.
