Consulate of RA in Lyons
Government of RA has approved president's draft decree about opening a Consulate General of Republic of Armenia in French city of Lyons. The Armenian community of France is located mainly in cities of Paris, Lyons and Marseille. According to non-official data, there are about 100.000 Armenians in the region of Rhone-Alpes, its centre Lyons and in other cities of the region. The role of this city and the region in general is the key reason for such decision.
