Prime Minister in “Shahnazaryan” Ltd.
PM Tigrn Sargsyan has visited "Shahnazaryan" Ltd. in Yeghvard, Kotayk, a company specialized in production of wine and cognac.
The company, established in 2009, now produces "Shahnazaryan" and "Pearl of Armenia" types of cognacs. Only local raw materials are used in the production of cognacs. The production of company is mainly exported to Russian Federation and Ukraine.
Last year, "Shahnazaryan" Ltd. stored 11.815 tons of grapes worth of 1.65 billion AMD. The production was worth of 3.82 billion AMD. 3.79 billion AMD worth production was exported.
In the first quarter of 2013 production of 4.67 billion AMD has been produced, which exceeded the figure from the same quarter of last year. The whole production has been exported to Russian Federation and Germany. The company intends to store about 8000 tons of grapes. Now the company works to open a distillation shop for which 156.4 million AMD will be invested.
In 2012, "Shahnazaryan" Ltd. paid about 92 million AMD tax to the state budget, and in the first quarter of 2013 it has already paid 65.63 million AMD.
64 people work in the company with an average salary of 172.000 AMD.
