PAP to take up its seats in Yerevan City Council
The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) has decided to fill its seats in the Yerevan City Council, PAP Spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan said on May 13.
He said that his party-mates divided into two groups during the discussion: the first group claimed that the party should waive its mandates while the other thought they should work in the City Council.
"The majority of the party agreed that it is necessary to justify the votes of the 100,000 residents of Yerevan, it is necessary to serve to the people who have elected the PAP," said the PAP Spokesman.
However, as YerkirMedia reports, the trio leading the PAP list will not assume the seats in the Yerevan Council.
Let us remind that the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will have 42 seats and PAP 17 seats in the municipal council.
