Turkologist: Azerbaijani statements are not true
Azerbaijan's statements about its alleged success in the military sector are fabricated, says Turkologist Levon Hovsepyan.
"If we consider Azerbaijan's statements and the money the country spends annually on armament we can say that Azerbaijan has not recorded great success in this direction," he said.
Likewise, no progress has been made in the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
"According to official reports, the money spent on the military cooperation between the two countries totaled $ 12 mln in 2012 as compared with the $ 30 mln spent in 2011," said Hovsepyan.
In his turn, military expert Hrachyan Petrosyants said even if Azerbaijan obtains the best military equipment, it will be unable to use it as the country does not have the right specialists to use the technique.
