Vardan Harutyunyan: PAP is not with authorities
The analysis of Armenia's first President, Leader of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), Levon Ter-Petrosyan, that the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) would be driven to the opposition camp cannot be considered a failure because PAP, as you mentioned in your question, is in alternative positions, human rights activist Vardan Harutyunyan said in an interview with Aravot daily.
"PAP is not with the authorities today. I cannot say whether it happened after Ter-Petrosyan's analysis or not, but one thing is clear; PAP views itself as an alternative force to the acting authorities. The situation is more than simple," said Mr Harutyunyan.
