Most migrants refused entry to Belgium
Belgium has toughened its policies on illegal immigration, Irina Davtyan, deputy head of the Department on Migration Programs of the Migration Agency of Armenia, said on May 8.
She says Armenians mainly seek asylum in European countries for treatment.
"...but the system has been misapplied to such an extent that majority of immigrants have been denied entry to Belgium in recent years," Irina Davtyan told reporters on May 8.
Representatives of the migration service advise all those who want to migrate to other countries to do it in a legitimate way.
"We aim to inform our compatriots of the opportunities for legal immigration, be it for labour, educational and other purposes," said Irina Davtyan.
