Trial of ex-presidential candidate due May 14

The trial of ex-presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakyan is slated for May 14, the "Sirunyan" Law Office reports.

Vardan Sedrakyan is charged under Article 34.505 of the Armenian Criminal Code and is accused of masterminding the assassination attempt upon another presidential candidate, Paruyr Hayrikyan.

Sedrakyan's lawyer Alexander Sirunyan will be giving a news conference on May 13.
