Media paying Police?
The editor of "Hetq" online media Edik Baghdasaryan has applied to the Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan through an open letter. "Hetq" informs about this.
Dear Mr. Gasparyan,
A video about apprehending the representative of "Heritage" party Armen Martirosyan has appeared in media. It is evident, that the video was shot by a police associate. This is not the first case, when operative video materials are put at media disposal. We ask you to inform us:
1. The basis on which Police supplies media with those materials.
2. If media pay Police for it.
3. If yes, please tell us how much a police video material costs and how we can obtain the materials we are interested in.
4. In the latest video there is also an advertisement: www.MER-OJAX.com . Has the advertiser signed an agreement with Police? If yes, what are the conditions?
