“The dead will provide votes”
RPA has quite a big property. Today Head of Vanadzor office of Helsinki Citizen's Assembly Artur Sakunts made such an announcement during a meeting with journalists.
Following the campaign of Elders Elections Sakunts also points out at the
police inactivity.
"Police itself does not look for any violations, it only waits for common citizens or observers to call and tell about violations."
He thinks that if either the parliamentary or the presidential elections have been faked, then the Mayor's elections will be similarly faked.
"It is definite that the votes of absent citizens will be used for faking the results. This mechanism has been used during the presidential elections: to provide votes by means of people who have long been dead", said Sakunts.
According to him, it is quite difficult to prevent such violations, as they are never provided with lists of voters.
"In a big city like Yerevan it is difficult enough to prevent the process of bringing people from regions and making them vote here", adds Sakunts.
