N. Pashinyan “He must not speak like that next time”
The discussion of the expected changes in "On police forces" law of RA was hot. The draft law, which suggests that police forces can maintain order in public without the participation of SPS (State Protection Service) was being presented by Deputy Head of Police Arthur Osikyan.
MP from ANC Nikol Pashinyan stated that in recent days Chief of Police's words had gained a wide media coverage. Allegedly, some delegates had called his deputies and he, Chief of Police, had said applying to them "Ara, are you delegates or criminals?"
"Mr. Osikyan, have you been one of those deputies? Who was among those delegates who had called? And also, how long is it already, that the Chief of Police speaks to delegates using the word "ara"? If he does not clarify whom he meant by that word, it means that the word mentioned concerns the status of MP generally. If he speaks like that about delegates next time, tell him I will apply to him likewise", announced Nikol Pashinyan.
Arthur Osikyan stated, that he does not want to speak about the delegate's words. "Yet I would ask you not to pass the boundaries and be correct. I also want to inform you, that they have not called me and Chief of Police's respond was appropriate in the given situation".
Answering him, Nikol Pashinyan said, "I think you did not have any basis to invoke for correctness. I hope you will pass my call for correctness on to your boss".
