Candidate for the Mayor of Yerevan Armen Rustamyan is sure: if the elections are fair, the RPA candidate Taron Margaryan will not win.

To the question "Who will win if the elections are fair?", he answered "ARF".

According to him, in our country the electorate is made of friendly relationships and personal favors. "The authorities do everything to downplay the importance of these elections. Our aim is to prove that this is a serious political choice. We do everything to reach two goals
during these elections: to make them a vote of distrust to those authorities and to get a positive result for ARF".

To the question "How can you say that the authorities will not try to get the opposition candidate to their side?", Armen Rustamyan answered, "That tradition has always existed. You are mistaken, if you think that they don't have enough means to get the whole opposition to their side. There have been some political figures, who have been complaining about the authorities, yet now they are among those authorities".

Speaking about the present condition of Armenia Rustamyan said, "It is not easy today to buy people's votes. People are so sick and tired of those authorities that they have nothing to lose".

To the question "Don't you see any resemblance between ARF's and Raffi Hovhannisyan's campaigns?" Rustayan answered, "Hello does not belong to Raffi. Our Artsvik Minasyan was the first political figure to say hello to everyone during 2009 campaign. Our goal is not to say hello, but the change of power".
