Inflation is recorded
The statistics of inflation in the period of January-April of 2013 has been the following:
January - 2.9% inflation, February - 0.4% deflation, March - 0.4% inflation, April - 0.1% deflation.
Those figures were presented today during a meeting with journalists by the head of Department of Price Statistics and International Comparisons of the National Service of Statistics Gurgen Martirosyan.
"All in all we have had 2.8% inflation in these 4 months", he mentioned.
Comparing those figures with the data from the same period of 2012, Gurgen Martirosyan mentioned, "This year we have recorded 3.2% inflation in the consumer market".
The most significant rise in price has been recorded in the sphere of agricultural products.
Among all CIS countries Belarus is the one with the highest inflation rate.
