To prevent Vahagn Khachatrayn's election
"The party "Rule of Law" (Orinats Yerkir) will win in the elections and the Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan will be the new Mayor of Yerevan". This is Hovhannes Shahinyan's opinion, which he expressed today during a meeting with journalists. Shahinyan himself is the second number in the list of "Rule of Law".
He thinks that their candidate is the type of person, whose "management system methodology must be used in our other ministries, government offices".
"Today we should consider the team and not the program. We should firstly consider the leaders of the team and their capability to realize those programs".
At the end of the meeting, the representative of "Rule of Law" spoke about former Mayor Vahagn Khachatryan, who is now number one in the list of Armenian National Congress, adding that Khachatryan's election is not to be allowed.
"It is very dangerous. When he was the Mayor, tens of thousands of garages were built in the yards of our cities. I remember it very well", said Shahnyan.
