What is Taron Margaryan responsible for?
Deputies from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) do not see many things that need to be changed in Yerevan. They claim that [incubment Republican Mayor] Taron Margaryan should continue to work in the position. Mher Sedrakyan promises to do a lot personally for Taron Margaryan. "I like his personality, I try to be helpful either personally or as a member of the Republican party".
Mher Sedrakyan does not think that Mayor's job is to help improve the social conditions of Yerevan residents and says, that the Mayor is responsible only for aesthetics of the city. "He doesn't have the right, he just can't do it. How can the head of the city say, "I will create new workplaces?"
Maybe after his re-election the Republican Mayor will deal with the problems of emergency situation in old apartment blocks. MP Ashot Aghababyan says: that is not Taron Margaryan's job either. "Emergency situation in old apartment blocks is Government's concern".
