Raffi Hovannisian did not forget his pledge
Heritage party leader, former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian today was reminded of his statement uttered during the presidential campaign: "Serzh Sargsyan would be sworn in for a second term only over my dead body."
"There is still time to implement it," Raffi Hovannisian told reporters on April 29.
The Heritage party leader is surprised to hear certain political figures, who sat idle in the February 18 presidential election, assessing the activity of others, specifically his handshaking with Armen Martirosyan, the candidate of "Barev, Yerevan" alliance for Yerevan Mayor.
Raffi Hovannisian is confident of the bloc's victory in the May 5 municipal election. The Heritage leader says he respects all their contenders who did not contest the February vote but are participating in the municipal race.
"Each of these forces has its approaches. One has administrative resources - teachers, threats, etc. The other has money. We have neither of them," he said.
