Hovannisian announces the start of new movement
We are starting the formation of "New Armenia" civil movement, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian said when addressing the participants of today's meeting at the Ani hotel in Yerevan.
"New Armenia" civil movement will be an alliance of citizens, and representatives of different political parties are welcome to join it," he said adding that the precondition is the same: the struggle is beyond party interests.
He said that the movement was sowing its seeds across Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora.
Raffi Hovannisian again underlined the main achievement gained after the presidential election. "Citizens have got rid of their fear and can stand up for their votes," he said.
"I call on everyone to stop lambasting each other. People's struggle is reaching a final harbour which will lead to ..., I want you to continue...," he said.
