Taron Margaryan says he also have problems and concerns
Incumbent Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, who is leading Republican Party's list in the May 5 municipal election, says like his co-citizens he has numerous problems and concerns.
By sharing their problems and concerns I shall try to rid our citizens of their problems and concerns," Margaryan said on Friday during a meeting with the residents of Arabkir community.
The incumbent mayor did not avoid self-criticism and admitted that there had been many shortcomings during his tenure of office.
These shortcomings are the result of our team's work during this period. A working man can err, but a non-working man cannot," he said.
After the speech, Margaryan talked to several elderly people who approached the incumbent mayor to present their concerns.
In reply to a formalist's question whether he could memorize everything and handle all issues raised by residents, Taron Margaryan said, "These problems did not emerge in a day, they have accumulated for years. We have focused on them in our election platform."
In reply to all other questions, Margaryan said, "I came here to communicate with citizens."
