Mesrop Arakelyan: We do not have a cover-up
Our generation really needs to have better ideas and more resources than the previous generation, says Mesrop Arakelyan, a representative of the Arakelutyun (Mission) party who tops the party's list in the upcoming municipal election.
He says they do not seek to smear or criticize anyone.
"We are going to carry out its mission. We do not have a cover-up" he said.
Mesrop Arakelyan says they are holding door-to-door meetings and the money spent on the posters and other expenses comes from donations and party membership fees.
"Our list includes people who have clean political background. During our meetings we came to the conclusion that our citizens do not have the slightest notion about elections to the Council of Elders. Therefore, we explain the role and importance of these elections," he said.
