One killed in crash near filling station

At least one person died in an accident that occurred near a filling station in Ptghavan village in Tavush marz (province) at 05.53, April 17.

As it turned out a Volkswagen Golf had crashed into a DAF truck on the 16th km of Noyemberyan-Bagratashen highway under yet unknown circumstances. As a result of the accident, the passenger of the Volkswagen Golf, B. Kokoyan (aged 36-37) died on the spot. Passengers K. Antonyan and A. Shlepchyan were rushed to a hospital in Alaverdi city.

Antonyan is reportedly in grave condition.
