Elderly woman lives in solitude and ennui
Ninety-three-year-old Evelina Gevorgyan has been living at the Armenian Music Company for 20 years. The board of directors allowed her to live in the area taking into considerationthe fact that she had sung at the choir for many years.
"I stayed alone after I sent my son abroad. I sold what I had and today I do not even have a roof over my head," said Evelina Gevorgyan.
The former singer today lives on 60 000 drams and does not have any expectations from the state.
