Hovik Abrahamyan met with residents
After the sit-down strike throughout the night in front of "City Centre Development" company the residents of No. 33 district have moved to the National Assembly early in the morning.
They met with the Chairman of the National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan with the claim to receive compensation for their lost homes in 2007.
"Mr. Abrahamyan promised us to contact the owner of "City Centre Development "company Vahe Yakubyan and to appoint dayfor holding negotiations ",-former resident of No. 33 district Andranik Grigoryan said.
After the meeting the residents returned back again to "City Centre Development" company's office building. It is this company that took 6 years ago the apartments of the residents and promised apartments in new buildings.
So far, for about 80 families have not received compensation and with the company's proposal to give apartments close to the wine factory, the majority of residents is not satisfied.
"The situation is uncertain; Hovik Abrahamyan did not speak about any kind of deadlines. If till tomorrow there is no answer about the meeting, on Monday we will come back to the "City Centre Development" with all the inhabitants,",- Andranik Grigoryan says.
