“Victory without a single drop of blood”
The next rally led by opposition leader Raffi Hovannisian has kicked of at Yerevan's Freedom Square in the rain.
Hovannisian, who returned from Moscow earlier today, first kissed the national flag and then greeted the people gathered at the square.
In his speech, the Heritage party leader spoke about the clashes between his supporters and riot police on Baghramyan Avenue following the ‘scheduled inauguration of a new Armenia.'
"I promised you that we would celebrate the victory together, and no blood would be shed. We will not allow the authorities to rest in the coming months. We will have the victory we are longing for without shedding even a single drop of blood," said Hovannisian.
The Heritage leader is going to continue his meetings in the capital and regions.
He also addressed to Serzh Sargsyan, saying, "Mr Sargsyan, I have already said that the Armenian people do not recognize your re-election, your false oath and the place you are sitting [26 Baghramyan Avenue]. These authorities will resign as people have won."
