On April 9, Heritage Party Leader Raffi Hovannisian was able to do the impossible: he sang Armenia's national anthem on Baghramyan Avenue.

"We did not have victims," Zaruhi Postanjyan Secretary of the Heritage faction, said on Friday.

Hovannisian also managed to "cut" General Vladimir Gasparyan, the chief of the Armenian police, from Serzh Sargsyan. "On April 9, he [Gasparyan] joined us at the Armenian Genocide Memorial on Tsisternakaberd hilltop and prayed with us," she continued.

"Serzh Sargsyan died on April 9," Postanjyan said adding that her party was going to ‘bury' him on Thursday but the city authorities did not give them space.

Head of the Republican faction, Galust Sahakyan, is surprised to hear the announcement of a mother who has four children. He says Serzh Sargsyan is safe and sound. "She [Postanjyan] is a woman and I cannot answer her in the same language. I cannot use foul language and said everything in my mind," said Sahakyan.

Gagik Jhangiryan, a lawmaker of the Armenian National Congress, cannot understand what Hovannisian had in his mind on April 9. Jhangiryan says his friends persuaded him to attend the April 9 inauguration, but he refused to go.
I could not see any logic in Hovannisian's steps and the movement led by him," said the HAK MP.

Similarly, Jhangiryan cannot understand why Hovannisian prayed with Vladimir Gasparyan.
