Opposition leader Raffi Hovannisian has not disappointed his supporters, he has disappointed government representatives, says David Sanasaryan, a member of Hovannisian's Heritage Party.

"Raffi has disappointed those who have no connection with the movement and sought to create fake atmosphere of disappointment. The most important for us is that no blood was shed on April 9," David Sanasaryan told reporters on April 12.

The Heritage member does not agree with the opinion that Hovannisian left people alone on April 9.
"When Raffi went to the Genocide Memorial on Tsitsernakaberd hilltop he believed that people were following him but when he was told that a group of people were still waiting on Baghramyan Avenue, he demanded a car and went to them."

Sanasaryan says on April 9 police took illegal actions against protesters.
""When we were trying to separate the protesters and police officers to prevent clashes, the police were beating and kicking us without justification," he said.

Singer Arthur Ispiryan, who is participating in the municipal elections on the Heritage ticket, says the problems in the capital will deepen if the opposition fails to win the elections.

"It is already 20 years none of the mayors has been able to tackle the sanitary problems in Yerevan," he said.
