Housing issues of Syrian-Armenians discussed at Ministry
Armenia's Acting Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan hosted the President of the World Armenian Congress, Ara Abrahamyan, who arrived in Yerevan to attend the inauguration of Serzh Sargsyan. Participating in the meeting were also Georgy Ter-Ghazaryants, First Vice Chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia, and Deputy Chairmen of the WAC and UAR, Vladimir Aghayan and Aram Sargsyan.
Summarizing the programs implemented jointly by the Diaspora Ministry, WAC and UAR, Ara Abrahamyan stressed that the activities underway with the Armenian Diaspora have become more productive.
For her part, Hranush Hakobyan presented the activities the Ministry carried out to provide assistance to the Syrian Armenians who have settled in Armenia because of the war in Syria. The interlocutors discussed the housing issues of Syrian-Armenians.
