Ombudsman's Office starts proceedings
Armenian Ombudsman's Office is seriously concerned about yesterday's clashes between security forces in riot gear and participants of the demonstration organized by Heritage Party Leader Raffi Hovannisian. Talking to A1+, Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan said that they had institute legal proceedings in connection with the tense standoff between the protesters and riot police.
At the same time, Mr Andreasyan commended the police for taking measures to avert further clashes.
