Resignation of the government
Today, on the day when Serzh Sargsyan assumed the presidency of RA, according to the 4-th paragraph of Article 55 of RA Constitution the President of the Republic of Armenia on assuming office accepted the resignation of the government of the Republic of Armenia signing the decree. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan presented the application of the resignation to the president of the republic.
Before the presentation of the government's resignation Prime Minister congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of assuming the position for the second time and said that for him, for the government and any political and public figure of high positions it would be great honor and great responsibility to serve their nation collaborating with RA President Serzh Sargsyan.
Serzh Sargsyan in his turn expressed gratitude to the members of the government for effective co-operation and said that they had worked in very complicated environment, in many cases, seemingly impossible to solve problems, but all of them had coped with the challenges with great honor and intelligence.
"I am confident that the new government of Armenia will continue your best traditions implementing and facing new tasks and challenges. Once again, I thank you and I wish you good luck" ,- Serzh Sargsyan concluded.
