Raffi Hovannisian took Oath
Raffi Hovannisian invited Serzh Sargsyan and Catholicos of All Armenians to Freedom square today at 6 pm "Come to apologize to the people",-Raffi Hovannisian urged.
In his today's speech Mr.Hovhannisyan mentioned that tomorrow In Freedom square God will show the dawn of freedom, which will certainly come:
"Tomorrow at 10:00 am we will celebrate the victory. Who wants to stand for New Armenia oath, can stay and who wants to watch a soap opera, let him go home and continue to be ruled",- he said.
Mr. Hovhannisyan promised that he will remain loyal to his nation and will fight till his last breath to help the people to see free, independent and united soil of Armenia. "This is a celebration of unity and we should create sovereign together".
He called on the soldiers not to come to the square and stand on the border, protecting the country's borders.
Then the citizens, led by Raffi Hovannisian swore all together:
"I am the citizen of the Republic of Armenia and today I liquidate my relationships with the current illegal government. I declare that I do not recognize fake leaders, I will not obey false laws, I am protected by the Constitution and I am not afraid, I am not sold, I do not give up.
We, the citizens of the 4-th republic, swear with our forefathers' dreams ,with the future of our children, with the state constitution that we will fight with love and we will not lose that fight, we will not be disappointed, we will give to each other and we will win.
We, the citizens of New Armenia, will build our real state under our holy mountain Ararat, from where our brothers and sisters will not run to find happiness. That day is not far. Today is that day!".
The participants swore and responded "Raffi President."
Raffi Hovannisian said that the oath he had taken was saint and was integrity of the Bible and they should congratulate each other for the proclamation of a new Armenia.
