Galust Sahakyan: Serzh Sargsyan will be sworn in anyway
The only issue included in the agenda of the National Assembly's special is Serzh Sargsyan's inauguration.
The opposition Heritage and Armenian National Congress (HAK) have already announced their decision not to attend the special session session to be held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex on April 9.
Galust Sahakyan, head of the Republican party faction, says he is not grieved by the decision of opposition factions.
"Each party is free to decide its steps, however, their nonattendance will be viewed as disrespectful absence. The Constitution clearly defines the consequences of disrespectful absences," he said adding that Serzh Sargsyan will be sworn in in any event.
