Women vs. gas and oil
We say we do not have gas and oil, but we have not used our women's potential, former Minister of Culture Tamar Poghosyan said at the Media Center.
She says women are a source of energy while many today view women purely as ‘sexual objects.'
"I respect everyone's sex," she said.
Anahit Bakhshyan, a representative of the opposition Heritage party, added that being a woman is not important in Armenia, especially during the elections.
"It does not matter whether you are male of female as long as you are not a pro-government representative," she said adding that the spheres where women are decision-makers prosper easier and quicker.
