Nikol Pshinyan: I shall do my best to protect your vote
Leader of the Opposition Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian, who is continuing his regional visits as part of a Barevolution campaign against the results of the February presidential election, today visited Abovyan city in Kotayk marz (province).
Addressing the meeting participants, Nikol Pashinyan, a lawmaker from the Armenian National Congress (HAK), said he was there to protect the vote of the people.
"I am here today to prove that I recognize the vote of the people. I shall do my best to protect the choice of Abovyan citizens because this campaign aims to transfer the power to people, who made their choice in the February ballot. People's choice is a supreme law for me and I am bound to protect it to the end."
Speaking about Serzh Sargsyan's inauguration on April 9, Nikol Pashinyan urged people not to sit before TV and indifferently watch the ceremony, allowing ‘that man grab the Republic of Armenia for a second time.'
