Raffi Hovannisian: Fear is leaving people
You have already changed Armenia. Starting April 9, you will live in a new Armenia, Heritage Party Leader Raffi Hovannisian said in Goris, in Armenia's southern Syunik marz.
Although few people showed up for the meeting, Mr Hovannisian said ‘it was quite normal in a city where people live in fear because of the acting governor.'
Raffi Hovannisian said he respects the viewpoints of other parties and each of them could join the move with their methods and support people.
The Heritage leader also said that though men in some communities were still afraid to approach and greet him, ‘the day is near when people will not be scared to come out of the abysm of fear and keep power in their hands.
"I am going to achieve national unity even at the cost of my life," he said.
