Civilitas: Disinformation is intended to malign us
The Iravunk newspaper has cited "sources close to the judicial system" to disseminate information alleging that "next week a dangerous provocative action is planned in Republic Square" and that action is allegedly organized by "so-called civic activists close to Civilitas," the Civilitas Foundation said in a statement released on March 29.
The Foundation demands that Armenia's police, prosecutor and the National Security Service immediately investigate those responsible for the newspaper and that news item, to identify the motivation and those responsible for this obvious lie and disinformation.
The 10-month-long investigation of the Civilitas Foundation now is compounded by propaganda and disinformation which are directly intended to malign the Civilitas Foundation's name, reputation and capacity to carry out its mission.
