Gagik Beglaryan promises to do his best
Minister of Transport and Communication Gagik Beglaryan is going do his utmost to ensure the victory of the Republican Party (at the head of incumbent Mayor Taron Margaryan) in the May 5 Yerevan municipal elections.
Asked whether the Republicans are going to win the elections led by the ‘best ever' mayor, the former mayor said smilingly, "Republican mayors are the best."
The Minister of Transport and Communication could not say whether he would be included in the new government or not.
"Political decisions in Armenia are made by parties. No one can say what decisions the parties or the political forces supporting them will take," said Mr Beglaryan.
To the question whether he will not be discouraged if he is not included in the new Cabinet, the former mayor said, "I am never discouraged about work, isn't it evident?"
