Man suspected of murder found 23 years later
A man sought by the Armenian Police since 1990 has been found in the United States.
Vahan S. (born in 1957) was deported back to Armenia on Tuesday. He was arrested in Zvartnots Airport upon arriving in Yerevan. Vahan S. was wanted under Article 34-104 of the RA Criminal Code (murder attempt) and Article 235 (illegal possession of weapons).
Vahan S. was found in the result of a joint operation of the RA Criminal Investigations Department and Interpol agents in Armenia.
