Heritage member: Little time left till April 9
If crisis has emerged in the country in the result of elections, it can be eliminated by holding new elections, Stepan Safaryan, a member of the opposition Heritage party, said in Freedom square on March 25.
Addressing the participants of today's forum, Mr Safaryan said all crises in the history resulted by elections have been resolved through new elections.
After reading Serzh Sargsyan's response letter to Raffi Hovannisian, Stepan Safaryan observed significant changes in Sargsyan's position since his last meeting with reporters on March 18.
"... today he is talking about discussing the situation with people's representatives," he said.
The Heritage representative came to the conclusion that Serzh Sargsyan attaches more attention to the formal part of the talks than their contents.
"He seems to have set a precondition to Raffi Hovannisian saying if the latter wants to talk, he must stop the hunger strike. Little time is left for the Armenian people to avert Serzh Sargsyan's inauguration on April 9. The only way out of the situation is to return power to people," he said.
