'New Ambassador will follow the line of his predecessor'
Russia's newly-appointed Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volinkin was expelled from Georgia on charges of espionage.
"Such things are forgiven in diplomacy, especially given the fact that Volinkin denied the charges levied against him," says political analyst Sergey Minasyan.
He believes that during his tenure in Armenia Volinkin will use the rich experience of his predecessor Vyacheslav Kovalenko and bring positive changes in Armenia. At the same time he underlined that the Russian embassy staff mainly includes people who earlier worked in Georgia.
