US Ambassador Heffern visits Raffi Hovannisian in Freedom Square
U.S. Ambassador to Armenia, John Heffern, today visited Heritage Party Leader Raffi Hovannisian, who has been staging hunger strike in Yerevan's Freedom Square for 13 days.
The two men discussed post-election developments in the country. The U.S. official also inquired about the health condition of the Heritage leader, U.S. Embassy in Yerevan said on its Facebook page.
Ambassador Heffern was accompanied by his spouse.
